Filippo Ganna is the 2026 Italian time trial champion. The Netcompany Ineos rider completed the 40.3 km course from Santuario di Vicoforte to Barolo in 47' and 39" at an average speed of 50.7 km/h.
Ganna, who confirmed his title as champion in the specialty, preceded the young Luca Giami of UAE Team Emirates by 2'06” and Mattia Cattaneo of Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe by 2'36”.
Worth noting is the fourth place of Filippo Baroncini , who after much bad luck returns to the forefront, and the sixth place of Lorenzo Finn , who, having just won the Giro Next Gen, gained experience in the time trial against one of the greatest exponents of the specialty.
