AG2R double on the podium with Cosnefroy's third place
Dorian Godon ( AG2R Citroen) wins the 2023 Brabant Arrow , ahead of Ben Healy. With 40 km to go, the leading group made up of Rémi Cavagna (Soudal Quick Step), Andreas Kron (Lotto Dstny), Dorian Godon (AG2R Citroen), Ben Healy (EF), Lucas Eriksson (Tudor Pro Cycling Team) and Tord Gudmestad (Uno-X Pro Cycling Team), leads the immediate pursuers with about 30” of advantage.
With 32 km to go, on the Moskesstraat climb, Godon and Healy pulled away from the others, but thanks to the work of Cavagna , the leading group was immediately back together.
21 km from the finish Cavagna attacks, Healy closes promptly and counterattacks, followed by Godon and the Quick Step rider himself. Healy attacks again five kilometers later and this time it is Cavagna who gives way, while Godon stays close to the Irishman.
In the sprint the AG2R Citroen rider precedes Healy and wins the race. Third place for another AG2R rider, Benoit Cossnefroy .
