Field your team in the Ardennes special leagues
Second appointment with the Ardennes Triptych: on Wednesday 23 April the Flèche-Wallonne will take place, the shortest of the three races scheduled for the week including Amstel and Liège, with its 205 km.
Arrow means above all Wall of Huy, the historic finish line of the race, which will be climbed three times. Also watch out for the Cote de Cherave, a possible springboard for some runners.
Obviously the number one favourite, and eager for revenge after the defeat at Amstel, is Tadej Pogacar who will be able to count on the support of Brandon McNulty at UAE Emirates, who has appeared brilliant in recent outings.
His most dangerous opponent will be Remco Evenepoel, although the rather challenging finish is not really suited to his characteristics. The Belgian will still have Ilan Van Wilder and Maximilian Schachmann at his disposal.
Other interesting names include Thomas Pidcock, Lenny Martinez, Santiago Buitrago, Neilson Powless, Ben Healy, Kevin Vauquelin, Dylan Teuns, Romain Gregoire, Enric Mas, Oscar Onley, Lennert Van Eetvelt, Joseph Blackmore and the winner of the 2024 edition, Stephen Williams.
Also watch out for Lidl Trek: after Mattias Skjelmose's victory at the Amstel Gold Race, a strong performance is expected from both the Dane and his teammate, the explosive Thibau Nys.
Remember to field your team in the two Ardennes leagues: the Challenge Philippe Gilbert (where you have 5 swaps available until Sunday's Liège) and the Ardennes Premium League. In this case, swaps are unlimited.
