Blanka Vas won the first stage of the women's Tour of Switzerland, a World Tour race, a 56 km circuit around Weinfelden.

The Hungarian athlete from Sd Worx beat Arlenis Sierra from Movistar and Eleonora Camilla Gasparrini from Uae Team in the sprint. In the small group of the best also Demi Vollering, fourth, and Elisa Longo Borghini fifth.

Obviously Vas is the first leader of the general classification.
