Giro d'Italia, Stage 11: Narvaez scores a hat-trick

Jhonatan Narvaez wins the eleventh stage of the Giro d'Italia, from Porcari to Chiavari (195 km).

Today too, the battle to get into the breakaway is very intense, with a group of 9 men managing to break away before the start of the climbs, and with another 8 joining at the Passo del Termine.

On the descent of the Colle di Guaitarola, Zana, Scaroni, and Van Eetvelt fell, while a trio of Stuyven, Narvaez, and Vlasov gained the upper hand at the front.
Harper, Ulissi, Crescioli, Barguil and Mas however managed to return to the Colla dei Scioli.

At the top of the climb, only Ulissi , Mas , Narvaez , Vlasov, Crescioli and Harper remain, with a reassuring advantage over the pink jersey group.

On the final climb, Mas attacked , leaving only Narvaez behind. The two remained unchallenged by their pursuers and competed for the victory in a sprint, with Narvaez escaping from the front and securing his hat-trick . Ulissi finished third.

Nothing happens in the pink jersey group with the big names arriving together 3 minutes apart.
