Red Bull Bora are worried about the continuation of the Giro d'Italia . In addition to Giulio Pellizzari , whose health problems became evident immediately after the finish of the Corno alle Scale stage, Jai Hindley and Gianni Moscon, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, also experienced the same gastrointestinal symptoms.

During the rest day, none of the three riders tried the time trial bike , in view of the time trial from Viareggio to Massa, but all tried to rest and recover as much energy as possible.

Pellizzari himself, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, tried to clarify his physical condition : "I feel a little better, not much better. I'm trying to hang in there. I'm not retiring. We'll see how it goes, I'll try to limit the damage."

In any case, there's concern at Red Bull , as can be seen from the words of coach Sylwester Szmyd: "We need to see how he wakes up. He didn't ride yesterday. It all depends on his feelings. If he's not well, we'll have to save the day like he did in Corno alle Scale." The desire to keep trying is there, however, because "a virus passes and the Giro is always long."

It's hard to imagine how Pellizzari and Hindley will fare in a challenging time trial like the one in Tuscany, but the feeling is that limiting the damage could already be an excellent result.
