Magnus Cort Nielsen wins the tenth stage of the Giro d'Italia from Scandiano to Viareggio of 196km. The Dane precedes Gee and De Marchi, in a three-man sprint without much history. The EF rider thus achieved the goal of winning at least one stage in all three grand tours.

  Stage characterized precisely by the escape of Cort Nielsen, Derek Gee and Alessandro De Marchi who maintain the advantage over the group, until the final sprint.  

Fourth place for Mads Pedersen who regulates the sprint of the group.  

Stage characterized by bad weather and illustrious retirements, one above all that of Aleksandr Vlasov , while Jay Vine loses ground and arrives more than 5 minutes behind the winner.
