Giro d'Italia: Demare also wins the sixth stage

Arnaud Demare (Groupama Fdj) today won the sixth stage of the Giro d'Italia, the 192 km long Palmi-Scalea.

A fraction without altitude difficulties enlivened by the long solitary escape of Diego Rosa (Eolo Kometa), attacking for over 140 km. The Piedmontese rider, after reaching an advantage of more than 4 minutes, was restarted at -20 from the arrival with the sprinter teams already working for their leaders.
