Filippo Ganna (Netcompany Ineos) wins the individual time trial of the 10th stage of the Giro d'Italia, from Viareggio to Massa (42 km).
The Italian champion in the specialty finished in 45'53" at an average speed of 54.9 km/h.
Ganna starts in the first phase of the race and also gives minutes to the specialists: Cavagna, who will finish 3rd, takes 1'59".
In terms of the standings, Arensman is flying, 2nd on the stage (+1:54), also gaining on Vingegaard (+3:00) . Storer (3:05) is above expectations, while the two Red Bulls Pellizzari (+3:18) and Hindley (+3:31) are safe.
Solid performances by Gee (+2:16) and O'Connor (+2:42).
Gall (+4:21), Rondel (+4:41) and Eulalio (+4:57) performed very badly.
