Brandon McNulty wins the fifteenth stage of the Giro d'Italia from Seregno to Bergamo of 195km. The American of UAE Team Emirates precedes Ben Healy and Marco Frigo in an exciting three-man sprint.

Stage characterized by a breakaway of fifteen riders who quickly gain about 6' ahead of the pink jersey group. Among them the Movistar Einer Rubio, 18th in the standings at 11'04”.

In the last thirty kilometers a leading trio forms: Healy who attacks first, then joined by McNulty and Frigo. In the final Frigo breaks away on the Bergamo climb, but then manages to come back and sprint in the last 400 metres. The action of the Italian rider is not enough, because McNulty has more energy and manages to win.

In fourth place instead we place Bauke Mollema , ahead of Einer Rubio , who takes a considerable step forward in the general standings.

The Frenchman Bruno Armirail keeps the pink jersey.
