Annemiek Van Vleuten wins the sixth stage of the Women's Tour with start and finish in Canelli of 102.7 km. The Dutch athlete of Team Movistar precedes her compatriot Lorena Wiebes and the German Liane Lippert by 20”.

Fourth place for the Italian Soraya Paladin who arrives 25” from the winner of the stage and only 3” ahead of Silvia Persico.

In the general standings Van Vleuten is increasingly in control of the race with an advantage of 3'03” over the American Veronica Ewers and 3'39” over the French Juliette Labous.

Instead Elisa Longo Borghini, after the fall, decides to retire and does not start.
