The Giro-E has arrived in the lands of the Campionissimo, where Fausto Coppi has become the Airone. Therefore the route from Novi Ligure to Tortona is nothing more than a journey to the origins of the myth.

The Novi Ligure – Tortona stage, 43 and a half kilometers with a difference in altitude of 250 metres. The first twenty kilometers are on a very slight slope, then you join the Giro route and it's all downhill (or almost, in fact we should say slight downhill) towards Tortona, where Fausto died on 2 January 1960. Novi, Gavi, Serravalle Scrivia, finally Tortona: pity, again, for the rain. Novi Ligure is the right place from which to start stage number 11 of the Giro-E Enel X Way. Here, in fact, is the Museo dei Campionissimi , the largest cycling museum in Europe.

Set up in a former industrial warehouse of 3,000 square meters, it allows you to get rid of any curiosity on the subject, and the Green Fun Village Continental was set up right here.

It should be noted today that in Tortona they organized a ride dedicated to children from primary and secondary schools, to introduce them to cycling and the importance of practicing it in safety, respecting the rules and the environment.

Today the Fantacycling social jersey was worn by the former professional Andrea Tafi while the general classification of the stage saw the Green Projecy Agency-Sporters prevail.
