Itzulia: stage and jersey for Almeida

Joao Almeida won the 169.9km fourth stage of the Iztulia, from Beasain to Markina-Xemein.

The Uae Emirates rider attacked on the last climb of the day, leaving a gap. After a descent at full speed, the Portuguese arrived alone at the finish line, thirty seconds ahead of the small group of the best, regulated by his teammate Isaac Del Toro.

Almeida is the new leader of the general classification: now Maximilian Schachmann, third of the day, is 30 seconds behind.
