Ganda Skips, Selvino Returns

Following the heavy rains of the last few days, which caused landslides and flooding, the route of the 118th Il Lombardia presented by Crédit Agricole scheduled for tomorrow, 12 October 2024, will undergo the following changes.

At km 37.5, after passing the town of Cene, the race will turn towards Albino, and not towards Gazzaniga as per the original route, to tackle the Selvino climb from Nembro, which will replace the Passo di Ganda. The route initially planned will be resumed at km 57 immediately after the Selvino crest.

Due to the risk of flooding of Lake Como, the end of the race will also undergo some changes. The finish line will not be placed on Lungo Lario Trento but on Viale Felice Cavallotti, where the race will take place within the last km.
