Splendid sprint over Pidcock and Stork
Tommaso Dati (Team UKYO) wins the first stage of the Tour of the Alps, starting and finishing in Innsbruck (144 km).
In the early stages of the race, a breakaway made up of Zangerle , Dirnbauer and Nolde broke away, but the group didn't particularly worry.
The last to give up was Zangerle , who was caught at 6 km to go, but, immediately after the reunion, Ineos pushed hard on a small climb and Arensman tried to surprise the group.
The Dutchman was only reabsorbed on the final straight, with Dati taking the lead and beating Pidcock and Stork in the sprint.
