Slovenian consolidates its leadership over Gaudu and Vingegaard

Tadej Pogacar won stage seven of Paris-Nice with a finish atop the Col de la Couillole after an almost 16km long climb.

At the end of the 142.9km stage, the UAE Emirates rider preceded David Gaudu and Jonas Vingegaard , with whom he had made a selection and pulled away from his opponents.

The Slovenian consolidates his lead in the general standings over Gaudu and Vingegaard. Of note are the withdrawals of Mads Pedersen and Arnaud De Lie. The race will end tomorrow.
