Same ending as 2023; Pidcock, Madouas and Alaphilippe present

On Sunday 25 August, at the same time as the ninth stage of the Vuelta, the Bretagne Classic , a French category 4 race at Fantacycling, will take place.

The 259.8 km route features continuous ups and downs, without a single meter of flat ground; the final part is the same as last year's edition with the short climbs of Marta , Longeo , Rostervel and Le Lezot placed in the last 20 km of the race. In all likelihood the race will be decided precisely on these rough patches.

The favourites will undoubtedly be classic-style riders : Hirschi and Alaphilippe , first and second in the San Sebastian classic, Madouas , Olympic silver medalist and reigning champion, Nys, winner of three stages in the Tour of Poland, and Pidcock will start as favourites.

Other names to keep an eye on will be Laporte , bronze at the Olympics, De Lie , in great form in recent outings with the victory of the Tour of Denmark, Cortina, Cosnefroy, Van Gils, Gregoire and Laurance.

Several Italians will be starting: we would like to point out Ulissi, Vendrame and Bagioli who could compete for a place in the top ten.
