After fourth place in his debut race, the Visma | Lease a Bike rider won the seventh heat of the Superprestige at the end of an intense head-to-head with Eli Iserbyt .

Everything was resolved only on the last lap, when Van Aert attacked, forcing his opponent into a mistake.

So Van Aert can celebrate his first joy of the year. He reaches the finish line with a ten-second advantage over Iserbyt. Michael Vanthourenhout completes the podium, with a gap of 31 seconds.
