The third stage of the Giro E starts from Cerignola and arrives in Melfi on the same finish line as the Giro d'Italia. Fraction of 98km for "intermediate cyclists" according to the degrees of difficulty assigned to the various stages by the organization. The protagonists of the race face the two GPMs in the final which will then be the turn of the professionals. Bad weather affects the stage, but it certainly doesn't affect the joy and enthusiasm that distinguish this splendid race.

The Social Jersey is now on the shoulders of Davide Cassani , former coach of the national team and former professional rider; for us at Fantacycling it is a great honor to see our jersey worn on the roads of the Giro by a champion and a cycling lover of his caliber. We also thank him very much for his participation in our live broadcast last night together with   Alessandra Fiori .

The other jerseys of the day: the blue jersey of the general classification remains with Manuel Belletti (Team CambioBike), the blue jersey with Gianni Bugno (Team Valsir 2), the orange magic with Andrea Tafi (Team Free to X), the green jersey with Roberto Caponero (Team Valsir 1), the red jersey to Daniele Colli (Team Raspini Crai) and the white jersey to Damiano Cunego (Team Continental).

The character of the day is not one, but a trio formed by: the double world champion Gianni Bugno , the winner of the 2021 Roubaix Sonny Colbrelli and finally the Spanish 2003 world champion Astarloa .
