Nothing changes in the general classification

Fredrik Dversnes of Uno X won the fifth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico, from Ascoli Piceno to Pergola, 205 km.

The Norwegian was the protagonist of a long breakaway together with other riders. Left alone in the final, he managed to maintain a slight advantage over the group of the best in recovery.

Behind him, a few seconds behind, Mathieu Van der Poel followed by Roger Adrià.

Mechanical problems, a few meters from the finish, for Filippo Ganna who, however, thanks to the rule of neutralization of the last 3 km, maintains the leader's jersey of the general classification.
