The Belgian wins the second stage in a row, decisive Van der Poel

Jasper Philipsen wins the 181.8km fourth stage of the Tour de France from Dax to Nogaro. Impressive sprint of the Belgian from Alpecin Deceuninck who precedes Ewan and Bauhaus.

The stage is characterized by the escape of two riders, Benoit Cosnefroy (AG2R Citroen) and Anthony Delaplace (Team Arkéa Samsic) who are caught by the peloton with 23 km to go.

Then the sprint with Jakobsen's crash 1.5 km from the finish and the impressive acceleration of Van der Poel who launches a perfect sprint to his teammate Philipsen. The comeback attempt of an excellent Caleb Ewan is useless.

Nothing changes in the general standings with Adam Yates in the yellow jersey 6" ahead of teammate Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) and his twin brother Simon Yates (Team Jayco AlUla)
