After the rest day, the Tour de France restarts with the fourth stage from Dunkirk to Calais , of 171.5 km .

So back to France and before the long-awaited stage of the cobblestones (tomorrow with arrival in Arenberg), there will be another great opportunity for the sprinters, on paper the last one before the final catwalk in Paris .

It is difficult for the sprinter teams to miss the opportunity to finish in the sprint, but the last Cote, located 10 km from the finish (Côte du Cap Blanc-Nez (0.9 km at 7.5%), could represent a pitfall for pure sprinters and a springboard for some strikers like Van der Poel .

The favorites will once again be Fabio Jakobsen (winner of the second stage), and Dylan Groenewegen (who won the third stage), together with Van Aert . The Belgian, in the yellow jersey, will want to redeem himself after three consecutive second places, but could conserve some energy in view of the pavé stage, in which Van der Poel will challenge him to a throbbing duel.

Then there is Jasper Philipsen , who has proven to have good legs, but has always missed the sprint times so far, with Sagan ready to take advantage of every opportunity. Looking for redemption Caleb Ewan , up to now definitely under expectations, while the Italian Alberto Dainese could do well, back from a convincing seventh place in the third stage.
