See who has scored the most points after the first part of the Grande Boucle
The rest day arrives at the Tour de France and the first part of the Grande Boucle has fully met all expectations.
The Pogacar-Vingegaard challenge is thrilling the fans and igniting the race, with the Slovenian who, after losing ground in the Laruns stage (the fifth), redeemed himself by pulling away from the Dane in Cauterets-Cambasque (stage won by Pogacar) and gaining 8” on the Puy de Dôme ascent. The two absolute protagonists are also candidates to be the top scorer of Fantacycling points in this Tour .
At the first stop, however, the rider who scored the most points was Jasper Philipsen who, thanks to his three stage victories, collected 654 fantasy points (the Belgian is the first candidate for the green jersey and this could bring a substantial bonus of points even at the end of the race).
Then, after Tadej Pogacar, with 581 points , we find Wout Van Aert with 443 who missed out on success, but which at a Fantacycling level is always a guarantee.
He has made a good choice, for now, who has bet on Neilson Powless , 406 fantasy points and a strong candidate for the polka dot jersey . The top five is completed by Jonas Vingegaard in the current yellow jersey who earned 363 fantasy points .
Everything is yet to be decided and written, but after the first part of the Tour, the fantasy managers begin to understand whether the training choices have been right or not.
