Tour de Pologne: Barré wins solo

Louis Barré won the sixth stage of the Tour de Pologne, from Bukovina Resort to Bukovina Tatrzanska, a 125.5 km long stage featuring six mountain climbs with short but rather challenging climbs.

The race came to life on the penultimate climb to Sciana Bukovina, with Buitrago and Barré making the difference, while behind them, Astana and Lidl Trek attempted to close the gap. On the final climb, just over 10 km from the finish, Barré remained alone, maintaining a comfortable lead over the group with the best overall riders until the finish.

The Frenchman, earning his first career victory, leads Scaroni and Brenner by ten seconds. Scaroni is the new race leader heading into tomorrow's final time trial, three seconds ahead of Barré and five seconds ahead of Lemmen.
