The Spaniard precedes Yates and Vine, the new general leader

Pello Bilbao (Bahrain Victorious) won the third stage of the Tour Down Under, from Norwood to Campbelltown of 116.8km. The Spaniard preceded Simon Yates (Team Jayco AlUla) and Jay Vine (Uae Emirates). The latter is the new leader of the general classification.

The three gained an advantage on the short Corkscrew climb, with less than ten kilometers to go. Michael Matthews (Team Jayco AlUla) set the bunch sprint to 28 seconds. Seventh Antonio Tiberi (Trek Segafredo) while the former leader Rohan Dennis reached almost 1'30" from the winner.
