The Spaniard from Cofidis precedes Maxim Van Gils (Lotto Dsnty) and a good Diego Ulissi (UAE Team Emirates).  

Good signs also from the American Matteo Jorgenson (Team Movistar) fourth, who arrives immediately ahead of Mauri Vansevenant (Quick Step Soudal) and Alexey Lutsenko (Astana).

In the general standings Jesús Herrada leads with a 4” lead over Van Gils and 6” over Ulissi.
