Mauri Vansevenant wins the fifth and final stage of the Tour of Oman from Samail Jabal to Al Akhdhar of 152.2km. The Belgian, on the uphill finish, precedes Matteo Jorgenson (Team Movistar) and Geoffrey Bouchard (AG2R Citroen). Diego Ulissi also did well, sixth at the finish line, confirming his excellent physical condition after yesterday's victory.

Thanks to the second place of the day, Jorgenson maintains his lead in the general standings and wins the race , with only one second ahead of Vansevenant , while Bouchard is third, 28” behind.
