Juan Pedro López renews with Trek-Segafredo until 2025. The Spanish rider, who wore the pink jersey at the 2022 Giro d'Italia , then finishing tenth in the general classification and winning the youth classification, will continue with his own team .

The news was made official with a very nice social video, in which López first wears the Betis Sevilla shirt (a football club he is a fan of), but then puts on the Trek-Segafredo uniform again, signing for another three years .

"Betis may be his club, but Trek-Segafredo remains his home", this is the sentence that accompanies the video, in which Juanpe also demonstrates some good football skills in dribbling.  

The twenty-five year old from Lebrija will thus have the opportunity to grow further and show off his climbing skills, perhaps trying to improve himself in a great stage race.
