Tim Merlier won stage six of the UAE Tour, from Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to the 166km Abu Dhabi Breakwater.

The Soudal Quick Step rider, in his second success in the race, preceded Sam Bennett (Bora hansgrohe) and Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jayco AlUla) in the sprint.

Remco Evenepoel keeps the lead in the general standings. Tomorrow last stage with an uphill finish in Jebel Hafeet.
