After the post-stage skirmishes between the big favorites Evenepoel , Vingegaard and Pogacar , the Tour de France faces its first rest day. An opportunity to rest your legs and mind, but also to clarify some stinging statements.

Jonas Vingegaard , during the press conference organized by Visma Lease a Bike, responded to the statements of Remco Evenepoel , who had reproached him for racing with little courage (sweetening the Belgian's expression).  

“If I had collaborated with them for seventy kilometers and then they had separated me at the end, which also happened, then my Tour de France would have ended – said Vingegaard – It's not a lack of 'balls' (referring to the comment post- Evenepoel stage), but run intelligently."

Vingegaard also responds remotely to Pogačar , who declared that Visma only pays attention to him during the race: “I certainly don't think he is our only opponent. I believe that all the riders who are in the top 10 overall are opponents. Yesterday we didn't want to risk losing seconds. Maybe some people don't understand our tactics, but that's their problem."
