Tadej Pogacar wins the sixth stage of the Volta Catalunya from Berga to Queralt of 154.7 km.

Carthy and Mollema try to escape in the early stages of the race, but are caught by the group towed by the men of Team Visma on the Col de Pradell. However, precisely on the hardest ramps of the ascent, both Kuss and Uijtdebroeks, as well as Poels, break away.

On the Collada de Sant Isidre Pogacar attacks and makes a gap as in the second and third stages; the last to give up are Landa and Tiberi. The Slovenian climbs the hill with a 25" lead over Landa, 55" over Bernal and just over 1' over the rest of the men in the rankings.

Bernal reaches Landa on the descent; the two collaborate and manage to keep a good margin over their pursuers. Pogacar also triumphs easily in Queralt and scores a hat-trick this time in Catalunya.

Behind him, Bernal and Landa take second and third place in the stage. Mas finished fourth, ahead of a small group made up of Harper, Tiberi, Almeida and Martinez. Vlasov gives up something, while Kuss, Uijtdebroeks and Poels collapse and leave the top ten.
