The Briton takes center stage over Godon, Pidcock also does well


Ethan Vernon wins the 151km fourth stage of the Volta Catalunya from Mataró to Camprodón , a stage shortened by the organisers due to weather conditions.  

The British NSN rider sprinted ahead of Dorian Godon (Ineos Grenadiers) and Thomas Pidcock (Q 36.5). Fourth place went to Brandon McNulty , who attempted a sprint in the final metres and finished ahead of Magnus Cort Nielsen .

The first of the Italians was Alberto Dainese, who finished eighth. In the overall standings, Dorian Godon remains the leader with a 13-second advantage over Tom Pidcock and a 14-second advantage over Remco Evenepoel .
