Demi Vollering won the seventh and final stage of the women's Vuelta, starting from Pola de Siero and finishing uphill in Lagos de Covadonga after 93.7km.

The Dutch athlete of Sd Worx preceded Gaia Realini (Trek Segafredo) and Annemiek Van Vleuten (Movistar).

The latter, after breaking away, still managed to keep the leader's jersey of the general classification for just nine seconds, thus winning the Iberian stage race for the third consecutive year. Excellent third place finish for Realini.
