Faema brings us the most evocative images of the last pink race

A mix of colors and emotions, with the pink hue of the Giro d'Italia in the background.

This and much more is told by the photographic exhibition “Il Sabato Rosa del Villaggio” by Faema , a brand of the Cimbali Group and official partner of the cycling event since 2022, and Leica Camera Italia , a global leader in the sports camera and optics sectors. The exhibition opened its doors to the public on September 6 at the Leica Galerie in Milan (Via Giuseppe Mengoni 4, a stone's throw from Piazza Duomo) and will last until early October.

“Faema is deeply intertwined with the world of cycling and the Giro d'Italia: in the past, through the sponsorship of a team of champions, including Eddy Merckx , Italo Zilioli and Vittorio Adorni , and in the last three years as an official partner of the event. This strong bond has allowed us to connect with a vast audience - from large cities to small towns - who live the passion for the pink race, often following the stages sitting at the tables of the bars, where Faema has been present for almost 80 years”, commented Silvia Ruggiero Head of Communications of Cimbali Group, “It therefore seemed natural to us to want to immortalize those moments and we have once again chosen photography as the privileged language to investigate the humanity of the cyclists and the public who dream with them: photographic shots, creations imbued with emotion that have transformed every moment of this journey and even the simple act of preparing a cup of coffee into a work of art."

The inauguration of the exhibition was attended, among others, by Vincenzo Nibali , career winner of all three major stage races, the director of the Giro d'Italia Mauro Vegni and the Italian road cycling champion Alberto Bettiol .
