The Belgian leaves Arkea, will help the team in the northern races

Amaury Capiot joins Team Jayco AlUla . The thirty-two-year-old Belgian is leaving the area and signing a two-year contract with the Australian team, which brings him into its roster as a rider with experience in the Northern Classics.

“I'm very motivated for 2026 and can't wait to race in my new colors,” Capiot said. “My role will change depending on the race, but the main goal will always be the same: to win as many races as possible with the team. I hope to play my part in the team's successes so we can achieve many victories together. Motivation isn't just about working hard, it's about helping each other grow so we can cross the finish line first together.”

In his career, Capiot has won the GP la Marseillaise, a stage at the Tour of Oman and the Boucles de la Mayenne, while he has achieved second-place finishes at the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix . Certainly not a goldmine of points at Fantacycling .
