Lorena Wiebes (Netherlands) wins the European Cycling Championships on the 162km Belgian course, from Heusden-Zolder to Hasselt.

The central part of the race, with its steep sections and cobblestones, does not create any particular selection in the group. During the final lap, Holland takes control of the race.

In the last kilometer, however, Italy leads the way with Barbieri launching Balsamo, but Wiebes starts first without anyone being able to catch up. Balsamo finishes in second place ahead of Pikulik .
