The world champion beats Bilbao in the sprint

Remco Evenepoel won the 43rd edition of the Clasica of San Sebastian run today, July 29, over a distance of 230km. The decisive action about seventy kilometers from the finish line: Evenepoel, Vlasov, Bilbao and Bettiol leave, reaching and detaching two surviving fugitives from the first hour, Bardet and Van Hooydonck. Bettiol comes off on Mendizorrotz, Vlasov on the last climb, the Murgil.

Evenepoel and Pello Bilbao are fighting for the final success, with the world champion beating the Spaniard in the sprint and conquering the Iberian race for the third time.
