Isaac Del Toro spoke out after his crash and withdrawal from the Itzulia Basque Country . The Mexican rider from Team UAE took to Instagram to thank his fans and teammates, but gave no timeline for his possible return: "I have to stay positive after all and be grateful that it wasn't the worst thing that could have happened," Del Toro wrote, "and that, despite everything, I'll be monitored for a few weeks. Thank you all for your messages, your attention, and for believing in me. I can't wait to get back. Thank you all for your good wishes. I'll try to come back very soon and very strong."

It's difficult to know when Del Toro might return and the "very soon" he wrote in his Instagram post might not include the Ardennes Classics , given the muscle injury he sustained in his right thigh.
