Elisa Longo Borghini wins the Dwars door Vlaanderen .

The UAE Team ADQ athlete staged a winning attack with 28km to go, when she managed to leave all her rivals behind.

After catching up with the initial breakaway of the day, Longo Borghini attacked from the front of the race and remained alone in the lead. The pursuers struggled to organize a chase and were at most around 20" behind.

The sprint for 2nd place went to Kopecky , while Balsamo placed third.
