The Colombian will support Carapaz in the renewed EF

Rigoberto Uran is certainly not having an exciting season. The Colombian rider (who will turn 36 in 2023), however, gave excellent signals in the finale of 2022, winning a stage in the Vuelta, finishing ninth in the general classification and making himself noticed in the Italian races at the beginning of autumn.

At Fantacycling, in the season that has just ended, Uran scored 860 points , and he hopes to do much better next year.

"It all depends on how you are at the moment – he declared to CiclismoColombian – But I would like to go back to the Tour and the Vuelta, which are the ones I like the most. However, the team will tell me soon".

Uran seemed to be able to retire at the end of 2022, instead he decided to continue the adventure with the renewed EF , which will see a big name like Richard Carapaz in the team . Who knows if, thanks to Uran's help and experience, the rider from Ecuador will be able to win again in a Grand Tour.
