Van Aert beaten in a two-man sprint

Remco Evenepoel wins the Brabant Arrow (1.Pro), the first Ardennes race of the season, 162.6 km.

The race explodes in the third-last lap: on the Moskesstraat climb   Evenepoel   tries to stretch and is followed first by   Van Aert   and subsequently from   Blackmore . The trio quickly gains an advantage over the main group and gains almost a minute in a few kilometers.

With 16km to go, Blackmore broke away from the leading duo and was caught by the group who did everything they could to close the gap on Evenepoel and Van Aert.

The Team Visma rider stops changing gear with 2 km to go, Evenepoel starts the sprint first and holds the lead until the finish line, beating Van Aert. Morgado takes third place, winning the bunch sprint.
