Path analysis and possible protagonists: deploy your training

The Tour of Flanders is one of the most anticipated events for cycling enthusiasts. On Sunday 2 April there will be 273 kilometers to cover for the 107th edition of the Monumento with departure from Brugge and arrival in Oudenaarde: after a relatively quiet first part of the race, the dreaded walls will arrive (18 in total). Historical and well-known names such as that of Old Kwaremont , to be faced three times, but also Molenberg, Berendiers and Valkenberg. Then Taaienberg, Kruisberg and Paterberg, the last wall to face (after the new passage on the Kwaremont) just over 13 km from the finish.

Judging by the latest classics, there are three names that every fantamanager must have in his squad: they are Mathieu Van der Poel (twice winner of Flanders), Wout Van Aert (already on the podium in the Ronde) and Tadej Pogacar, who last year after a great race he only finished fourth and was beaten in the sprint.

Problems permitting, they will be at stake for the final success. But as you know, with Fantacycling placements are also important to collect the most points. So we give you some names that could do well between walls and cobblestones.

Let's start with the 'phenomenon' teams: Jumbo Visma remains the best equipped for a good team result, thanks to the presence of Christophe Laporte, Tiesj Benoot and Nathan Van Hooydonck . Vdp should only count on the help of Soren Kragh Andersen while Pogi's UAE Emirates will have Matteo Trentin and Tim Wellens (with Mikkel Bjerg a possible outsider).

Well matched pairs in the Ineos Grenadiers with Thomas Pidcock and Magnus Sheffield , in the Deceuninck Quick Step with Julian Alaphilippe and Kasper Asgreen , in the Trek Segafredo with Mads Pedersen and Jasper Stuyven and in the Groupama Fdj with Stefan Kung and Valentin Madouas .

Particular attention to those who have shown that they pedal well during the last tests: this is the case of Matej Mohoric of Bahrain, Neilson Powless of EF, Matteo Jorgenson of Movistar, Sep Van Marcke of Israel, Nils Politt of Bora and Alexander Kristoff of UnoX.
