Remember to deploy your formation

The Tour of Poland which starts tomorrow, Saturday 29 July, includes three stages for sprinters, a 16km individual time trial, two stages with uphill finishes and a medium mountain stage. A route that is suitable for resistant runners who are good at time trials.

This is the case of Joao Almeida , captain of the UAE Emirates, who will use the race to prepare for the next Vuelta a España. Also watch out for Brandon McNulty, the team's second option for a good result.

The Ineos Grenadiers reintroduces four of the protagonists of the last Giro d'Italia: there will be Geraint Thomas, Thymen Arensman, Laurens De Plus and Pavel Sivakov . Attention also to the local idol Michal Kwiatkowski , already winner of the race and exiting the Tour very well where he won a stage with an uphill finish: they will be the team to beat.

The other 'hot' names for your training could be Lennard Kamna and Sergio Higuita of Bora hansgrohe, Eddie Dunbar and Matteo Sobrero of Jayco AlUla, Max Poole and Oscar Onley of Team Dsm, Ilan Van Wilder of Soudal Quick Step, Tobias Foss of Jumbo Visma, Damiano Caruso and Antonio Tiberi of Bahrain Victorious.

Given the scheduled sprints, we have to mention the sprinters Olav Kooij of Jumbo, Sam Bennett of Bora, Gerben Thijssen of Intermarché, Tim Merlier of Soudal Quick Step, Fernando Gaviria of Movistar, Milan Menten of Lotto and Pascal Ackermann of Uae. Here, too, some outsiders can be inserted.
