Marlen Reusser wins the second stage of the women's Tour of Switzerland by imposing herself in the 25.7 km individual time trial from St. Gallen to Abtwil.

The European specialty champion achieves the best time in 36'42" at an average of 42 km/h, ahead of Vollering by 8" and Elisa Longo Borghini by 16". Big gap between these three athletes and the other opponents: the fourth classified, Brodie Chapman, even pays 1'13".

Reusser also takes the lead in the general classification with a 9" lead over Vollering.
