The Dane beats Milan and Ackermann in the sprint

Mads Pedersen won the sixth stage of the Giro d'Italia, with start and finish in Naples of 162 km.

After yesterday's bad day, the sun has returned to the streets of the pink race. The day's break features De Marchi, Clarke, Quarterman, Delettre and Gavazzi as protagonists. The first two make a selection but are caught a few meters from the finish line by the group ruled by the Dane.

The Trek Segafredo rider preceded Bahrain Victorious' Jonathan Milan and Uae Emirates' Pascal Ackermann .

Andreas Leknessund keeps the pink jersey, and tomorrow we go up to Campo Imperatore.
