The fourth stage of the Giro E from Lioni to Lago Laceno proves to be a demanding test for all the participants, with 1250 meters of difference in altitude in just 50 km of the route. Two long climbs tackled, including the final one which leads to the final finish line, Colle Molella: 9.9km at 6%.

The starting city of the fourth stage was, as mentioned, Lioni. It is located on the steps of the Via Appia, surrounded by rustic areas and rural buildings. A paradise for those who love nature and outdoor sports.

Violette Irakoze Neza, of the CNH Imdustrial Global team , wore the Social Fantacycling jersey , who showed off her cycling skills in the final sprint.

The character of the day was Michele D'Attanasio, one of the most appreciated Italian cinematographers, winner of two David di Donatello, with "Veloce come il vento" (2017) by Matteo Rovere and "Freaks Out" (2022) by Gabriele Mainetti.
