Neve Bradbury (Canyon//SRAM Racing) wins the seventh stage of the Giro Women starting from Lanciano and finishing at the top of the Blockhaus (120 km).

Gaia Realini sets the pace on the final climb and selects the main group a lot. An initial push by Bradbury reduces the leading group to just five athletes: in addition to the Australian, Kopecky , Niedermaier , Rooijakkers and the pink jersey Longo Borghini resist.

10 km from the finish line Bradbury attacks again and manages to make the gap. Behind her, Longo Borghini and Kopecky chase with about 1' of advantage, while Rooijakkers loses contact every time the two accelerate.

Bradbury flies towards the solitary victory which allows her to climb to third place in the general classification, while Kopecky beats Longo Borghini in the sprint for second position.

With one stage to go in the Giro Women the two athletes are separated by just one second in the general classification!
