Philipsen and Merlier safeties in the sprint. Groenewegen and Jakobsen continue to disappoint.

Extraordinary moment of form for Jasper Philipsen who, after Milan-Sanremo, also won Brugge-De Panne thanks to a great sprint; the Belgian deserves "only" a +1 both because he presented himself as the big favorite and for his high cost.

Same plus also for Tim Merlier , with a good second place, for Consonni 5th and for the young Fredheim 6th.

Van Poppel , who even takes the podium, and the Frenchman Tesson are very surprising , with an unexpected fourth position: +2 for them.

However, the dark period continues for two great sprinters like Jakobsen and Groenewegen , distant relatives of the dominant sprinters admired until recently: their value drops by a million. Same minus also for Demare and Meeus who were expected to place in the top 15.
