155km in the breakaway for the Irishman, 55 of them alone
Ben Healy (EF Education) wins the fifth stage of the Itzulia Basque Country, from Urduña to Gernika-Lumo (172.3km).
Bilbao, Armirail, Baudin, Alaphilippe and Healy attempt a breakaway with 155km to go , with the latter attacking alone at -55km.
The group 2' away does not organize itself for the chase and gives Healy a margin and the EF rider takes advantage of it and wins alone.
Behind him Laurance anticipates the group of the best regulated by Velasco . In the general classification nothing changes with Almeida who remains in the yellow jersey.
