Thanks to an incredible action on the plains, the Swiss won the third stage and above all the general classification
Third and final stage of the Itzulia Women : 114.8km with departure and arrival in Donostia. In the final twenty-kilometre stretch of plain, barrel , Niewiadoma And Reusser they collaborate and manage to get back on the leading pair. At -12km Reusser tries personal action and remains alone in command. The quartet behind him don't even try to chase, Vollering obviously remains passive and delivers the stage win and yellow jersey to teammate Reusser , who manages to recover the 56” disadvantage she had in the standings. The podium of the day is completed by Vollering and Baril, while in the general standings Vollering always closes second and Niewiadoma third.
